2022 Planning Wins

Bainton House

Julie & Owais are working through the design of a large ground & first floor extension & remodel. The extension will provide a generous kitchen & diner with lots of natural light and connections to the garden. The first floor extension will extend the rear bedrooms and features two new gable roof forms.

Alasdair and Sam had planning granted for the extension of a small 2 bed bungalow with fantastic views across the valley and nearby reservoir.  The rear extension was articulated with a glazed link, from which the modern ‘adventurous’ extension would make the most of the amazing location and views.

Littlemoor
Ringstead Crescent

Our most recent planning win came this week for a new build house which is aiming for AECB Building Standard. This was a big win for Anna & Nathan after some additional work and negotiations with the case officer on what was looking like a refusal.

Our clients were fed up with the layout of their small house. It was cramped, dark and thermally inefficient. This extension aims to capture as much light as possible and create the space needed to free up the floor plan and create a newly organised ground floor.

North Road
Pinfold Barns

Anna & Nathan recently got planning permission for this project set within Stonesby village conservation area. Our clients asked us to Convert of a series of barns that will be used to provide guest accommodation.

Liam and Claire have had planning approved to transform a dated property in to a warm, light and spacious forever home. Reconfiguring the the spaces will provide a generous living/dining/kitchen area with an improved bedroom and bathroom arrangement.

Vicarage Road
Stamford Road

We’ve received planning permission for two new homes on a challenging site at the edge of a Conservation Area in Oakham. Alasdair & Sam are currently working on the technical design.

Alasdair & Sam are the project architects for this retrofit & remodel project in Henley on Thames. The clients want to link the existing isolated kitchen to the garden and create a generous modern dining room. Work on site is due to start this month.

Westfield House
Pingle Road

We won planning permission in January to convert an existing garden building into an annexe and a rear extension to suit the extended family. Claire and Liam are finalising the technical design with work due to start on site.

Anna and Nathan have been working on the design for this Brick ground floor rear extension which will increase the kitchen and dining space. The small first floor extension will provide a more generous bathroom.

Havercroft Road
Holkham Rise

Planning granted for a two-storey side extension and single-storey rear extension to create an open plan, south-facing kitchen and living space with views across the garden. Nathan & Anna are currently working on the specification and technical drawings ready for construction later this year.

Claire and Liam are working on this small infill single storey rear extension. The extension will increase the kitchen and dining space and provide a better connection to the garden.

Oakbrook Road
Teversal Manor

We acheived listed building consent to divide this stunning Grade II listed 17th-century country house into three separate dwellings to preserve the manor for the future. Anna and Nathan are the project team on this one.
