Our Favourite: Indulgent Interiors

Image of Las Vegas Luxury Family Retreat interior

This month we wanted to highlight Our Favourite…..Indulgent Interiors. Indulgence doesn’t have to mean gold taps and velvet, sometimes it’s about bold choices, thoughtful craftsmanship, and little moments of delight.

We’re sharing a few of our favourite interiors that feel indulgent in all the right ways. From marble architrave, to timber panelling and a playful staircase. These spaces show how rich materials, bold colour, and beautiful detailing can elevate the everyday.

Redevelopment of Three Historic Houses

“This project is a beautiful balance between heritage and modern design.”

“What makes it feel indulgent is the way it celebrates texture and craftsmanship- in particular the marble architraves.”

“Indulgent interiors are often too dark and rich for me, but this strikes a wonderful balance of luxury materials; light and texture without feeling fussy.”

“I worked with Hannah and the team at Wilding & Wolfe on the interiors strategy for our own home and their attention to detail is fantastic.”

Adam & Eve House

“Yes, it’s nice to have a fancy bathroom or kitchen but for me a timber panelled hallway is the epitome of indulgent!”

“I loved this project by Jonathan Tuckey for years. I love how a simple hallway can be really elevated by some timber panelling, a double height void and careful detailing of the hidden doors.”

“It’s been an inspiration for me on my own house where I’ve gone with green panelling with shadow gaps and hidden doors rather than painted plasterboard and skirtings on the hallway in my extension.”

“Sadly there was no budget for a rooflight above the hallway on my project!”

“I like Interiors which use pops of colours to add a playfulness to everyday features, just as this staircase in this interior by Ned Scott at Foils.”
